This route runs along the platform of the old Alcoi-Alicante railway, whose objective was to link this prosperous town with the capital of the province, a project that never saw the light of day. Today it is presented as a haven of peace that crosses a Mediterranean forest in the heart of the Carrascal de la Font Roja Nature Reserve.
