Bidasoa Greenway
Following the Bidasoa River along the Tren Txikito (Little Train)
The Bidasoa is a small Basque–Navarrese river that, for most people, immediately evokes the border crossing at Irún into France. Its borderland character, together with the railway that once ran beside it, gives this route its distinctive identity.
NOTICE (04/12/2025): Due to a landslide, the Bidasoa Greenway is closed from Endarlatsa to Zalain Zoko. Passage through the Montoia tunnel is prohibited on this closed section. Anyone entering the tunnel does so at their own risk. We apologise for any inconvenience.
