Guadix-Almendricos Railway (Baza-Valle del Almanzora) Greenway Nature Trail

Information
This is a spectacular route through the southeast Iberian Peninsula, running along the high plateau in the surroundings of Baza, Granada, towards the hamlet of Almendricos, in Murcia Region, passing through the Almanzora Valley in Almeria. An itinerary that was used for decades by a railway that transported tons of iron and other goods.
Advice: Due to the effects caused by the last cold front (DANA) there have been rock falls in some points of the greenway. The Association of Municipalities of the Almanzora Valley and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food are working to resolve the situation as soon as possible. Users are kindly requested to pay attention to the signs along the greenway.
