An evocative itinerary from the capital of the Cordoba Caliphate through its Campiña region, as far as the Sevillian town of Marchena.

Until 1970 the countryside of Cordoba and Seville was crossed by a modest railway (the "Marchenilla") which, on sharp bends, formed an attractive route that is now open to travellers that wants to follow the itinerary between the Cordoba Caliphate and Marchena, a landmark town in the Seville countryside.

NOTICE (24 April 2026): Please take care in the area leading down to the Salado and Corbobes rivers; the path is accessible but has been somewhat eroded by the recent torrential rain. Repairs will be carried out shortly. Marchena Municipal Council.
