Monfragüe Greenway
A trip in the surroundings of the Nature Reserve
Its route extends over almost 20 kilometres through the surroundings of the Monfragüe National Park and Unesco Biosphere Reserve. Pastureland featuring holm oaks and cork oaks makes up the bucolic landscape left by the section of an old branch line on the Madrid – Valencia de Alcántara railway.
This greenway was implemented by the Junta de Extremadura
