Northwest Greenway Nature Trail
Pilgrimage route to Caravaca de la Cruz, along the Mula Valley featuring lunar landscapes and wooded mountains
The Murcia Region’s Northwest Greenway Nature Trail revives the old railway route that linked the regional capital, Murcia, with the capital of northwest Murcia, Caravaca de la Cruz. It is now a long route with a pilgrim soul (and many stations converted into hostels) full of contrasts: you can fit a lot of different landscapes into 76.8 km.
This Greenway Nature Trail was built as part of the Ministry of the Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs’ Nature Trails Programme.
