Along the Genil River, the gateway to the highest peaks of the Iberian Peninsula

This Greenway provides an exceptional route into the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, following the Genil Gorge from Güéjar Sierra. One of its highlights is the old Maitena station, once part of the tramway line that served this valley. Today it has been restored and converted into a restaurant with a pleasant picnic area.
