Tren Burra Greenway Nature Trail


Information
The emblematic Tren Burra railway —or Donkey Train, so nicknamed for its slowness—once linked Palencia with Villalón de Campos, in the province of Valladolid.
It originated as a horse-drawn tramway project, designed in 1877 by Francisco Subizar Berasain, to connect Valladolid with Medina de Rioseco.
