Val de Zafán Greenway Nature Trail
83 continuous km of the extinct La Val de Zafán railway, Puebla de Hijar to Tortosa line, have been upgraded as a greenway between the towns of Valdealgorfa in Teruel and Tortosa in Tarragona, in addition to another 18 km in the North Teruel region. A journey following crystal-clear watercourses as far as the great Ebro River through Teruel regions such as Matarraña and Catalonia’s Terra Alta and Baix Ebre regions, featuring spectacular scenery full of viaducts and tunnels. Protected nature reserves, history, culture and landscape in an exceptional route dotted with restored stations providing new services. This greenway is a must.
