Valle del Eresma Greenway Nature Trail

Information
Between Segovia and Olmedo (Valladolid) along the former Segovia–Medina del Campo railway
This route covers 73 km where the original holm oak and Pyrenean oak forests have given way to poplars and cereal fields, creating a landscape reminiscent of the Campos de Castilla, sung about by Antonio Machado. The route ends in Olmedi, a town immortalised by Lope de Vega in his famous drama ‘El caballero de Olmedo’ (The Knight of Olmedo).
NOTICE (15/04/2024): The Greenway is impassable due to vegetation between Olmedo and Coca.
