Campo de Cartagena Greenway
Through Murcia’s orchards and vegetable gardens as well as arid mountain landscapes
The unfinished Cartagena-Totana strategic railroad is a flat and long trail through Campo de Cartagena and the fertile plain of Guadalentín, surrounded by the most extensive variety of fruit and vegetables.
This Greenway was developed by the Murcia Region's Ministry for Tourism and Culture.

Note: On the detour around the Sabic plastic industry facilities and the Casa Grande estate there are occasional ramps at km 12.6 and 12.9; and extensive ascents with a certain slope in the sections km 14.3-km 16 and km 16.2-km 16.5. The old railway has not been upgraded as it passes through the La Loma estate, which obliges us to go around it along a 1.1-km alternative route whose road surface is uneven between km 29 and km 30.1 | |
