A green itinerary from the Pas Valley to the sea

Despite its small size, the region of Cantabria features a real treasure trove of evergreen landscapes. Its rivers, which are still frequented by salmon swimming upstream, carved our fertile valleys at the foot of mountains that were used by railways to travel inland. One of them connected the coastal town of Astillero and Ontaneda in the Pas Valley, a route along which trains no longer run. However, those wanting to discover this region in a different way are now able to do so.
