The 40 Days Train Greenway

2 Votes received
This route, also known as the Vía Negrín, was supposedly built in just forty days to supply Madrid when it was being besieged by Franco's troops.
A strategic railway that had an ephemeral life, part of its route is now an escape route for the nearby capital and a peaceful itinerary through the agricultural region of southeast Madrid. This greenway was built by the Madrid Region.
