In Donostia/San Sebastián, the original Topo railway route through the Morlans Tunnel was replaced by the new Lugaritz Tunnel. Once trains stopped running, the old trackbed was transformed into a cycle lane, completing Donostia’s network of bidegorris and linking the banks of the Urumea River with the university district. The Morlans Tunnel is the highlight of this almost entirely underground route, proudly boasting the title of the longest urban cycling gallery in Europe.
