A tour of Valencia's orchards

The region of L’Horta Nord, in the province of Valencia, is crossed by two railway lines originating in the city: the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV), which reaches Rafelbunyol, and the Renfe line (now managed by Adif) heading towards Barcelona and Zaragoza. Alongside these, there once existed a third line —now dismantled— that cut cleanly across this fertile plain along a straight route. Today, part of that path has been brought back to life as a greenway, running through orange groves and fields of market garden produce.
