Más de 10 países estarán presentes en la cita de las Vías Verdes de Europa. Jornada Internacional y entrega de los XII Premios Europeos de Vías Verdes. 9 y 10 de Octubre en Bizkaia. ¡ Te esperamos !

En esta edición 2025 el lugar europeo de celebración será Bizkaia, en el entorno del Camino Natural Vía Verde de los Montes de Hierro-Burdinmendi. La Asociación Europea de Vías Verdes, la Agencia Vasca de Turismo (Basquetour) y la Fundación de los Ferrocarriles Españoles están organizando este gran evento en colaboración con la Diputación Foral de Bizkaia junto con Enkarterrialde y Enkartur.

Algunas de las temáticas que se tratarán en este interesante y variado foro donde intervienen representantes de 12 países van desde el marco europeo con representantes de la Comisión Europea, buenas prácticas de Irlanda, Italia, Alemania, Portugal, UK, Girona, Euskadi o Polonia entre otros; las actuaciones con Fondos Next Generation en los 3 territorios vascos; el proyecto "Experimenta Vías Verdes" coordinado por la FFE; la gestion de las vías verdes por parte de las empresas ferroviarias de Italia y Portugal; la situación del Patrimonio Industrial en Europa... hasta la Estrategia Estatal por la Bicicleta del Ministerio de Transportes y Movilidad Sostenible.

El 9 y 10 de octubre en la Ecoetxea Meatzaldea sita en Gallarta, Abanto – Zierbana, una pequeña localidad vizcaína situada en un entorno privilegiado del Camino Natural Vía Verde de Montes de Hierro a tan solo 20 minutos de Bilbao, se darán cita las buenas prácticas a nivel europeo vinculadas a las Vías Verdes y el turismo industrial. 

• El jueves 9 de octubre se celebrará la Jornada Internacional de Vías Verdes Europeas y la Ceremonia de Entrega de los Premios Europeos.

• El viernes 10 de octubre no te pierdas la visita técnica a la mayor vía verde de Bizkaia, el Camino Natural Vía Verde Montes de Hierro.

Para estas actividades se dispondrá de traducción simultanea castellano/inglés.

9:00  Visit to the Portugalete hanging bridge “Puente Colgante” (UNESCO). It is a spectacular iron structure that links the towns of Portugalete and Getxo.
